Review by Patrick Joseph
"It's All About We (Everybody)" is a soulful and moving piece of music. An explosively controlled performance from a top-notch band results in a wonderful intensity. Jourden’s vocals are engaging and will win over listeners right away.
The incredible rhythm section and expressive layers of horns and organ make this music sound huge. The song is uplifting and tons of fun to listen to. The infectious energy of this track will surely have you dancing and singing along.
Lyrically, this song is catchy and positive. “Everybody in this world I know needs a friend from time to time, Everybody in this world I know needs a place to ease their mind.” The energetic yet reserved vocal delivery of these lyrics makes them believable and contagious. “When are we all gonna see? Its not about you…It’s not about me…its all about We.” The wise and necessary meaning of these lyrics elevate the music and make this song truly great.
The arrangement of "It's All About We (Everybody)" is masterful. Horn lines keep evolving throughout the song. A great piano solo and interactions with the organ are joyful. The drums and bass sit perfectly in the groove. Jourden is phenomenal in his vocal delivery. Simply put, this is excellent music built on timeless traditions and offering a very fresh feeling. You will fall in love with "It's All About We (Everybody).”
